Steve Skoll is an editorial portrait photographer based in San Francisco, CA.

Born in San Diego and raised in Los Angeles, Steve first envisioned a career as a sports photographer. (A dream helped along by the publication of photographs he shot of high school football games.) During Steve’s college years, spent mostly in San Francisco, his love of shooting sports eventually gave way to a love of shooting portraits.

After a few years in San Francisco, Steve’s next stop was New York. While based in New York, Steve shot hundreds (literally, hundreds) of assignments for corporate and editorial clients. After a decade in New York, Steve decided the time was right to return home to California, and he now finds himself back in San Francisco.
